Gregory B. Barber, M.D.
Dr. Barber graduated with honors from the University of Maryland in 1979. He completed his internship and residency at Boston City Hospital in Massachusetts followed by a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He held a Research and Teaching Fellowship at Harvard University. Dr. Barber received Trinity Lutheran Hospital’s Teacher of the Year Award in 1988 and served as president of the Medical Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital of Blue Springs from 1991-1992. He served as the president of the medical staff at North Kansas City Hospital from 2005-2006. Meeting and interacting with patients and their families is the aspect of practicing medicine Dr. Barber enjoys most. When he is not practicing medicine Dr. Barber enjoys sailing, boating, motorcycles, and computers.
