Dr. Khalid earned his medical degree from King Edward medical College, Lahore. He completed his internship and residency from Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology from Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois. He then worked as a staff gastroenterologist at Roseburg VA Hospital in Oregon for 3 years. He also served as a clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Khalid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of American Gastroenterology Association.

Dr. Khalid chose Medicine as his career as he considers it the noblest of all professions. He really enjoys treating patients with complex gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Khalid loves to spend time with his wife and 3 kids. His hobbies include fishing, tennis and reading.
