Jean Thompson has been with Consultants in Gastroenterology
and The Endoscopy Centers since inception. She holds a Bachelors of Science in
Organizational Management Leadership, a Masters in Business Administration and
is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Jean is
responsible for the strategic planning and day to day operations of the
organization and together with her team uses a patient centered focus for her
decision making and practice operations.
She is active and has served in leadership positions in the
Medical Group Managers Association, Medical Group Managers – Missouri, Greater
Kansas City Medical Managers, and Northland Medical Managers.
Outside of her professional
interests, Jean loves to travel, read, cook, walk and spend time with her family
and friends.
Leslie
Ojeda
Director of Operations
As
the Director of Operations for Consultants in Gastroenterology, P.C., Leslie is
based out of the Business Office located in Independence, Missouri. Since
joining Consultants in Gastroenterology, P.C. in August of 1993, Leslie has been
responsible for developing Human Resources practices and objectives for the
organization and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Business Office,
Health Information and Front Office departments.
She is a
member of the Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association and Missouri
Medical Group Management Association.
When she
has time outside of her professional commitment, she enjoys reading—especially
mystery novels, walking and spending time with her family.
Cheryl
Pistone RN, MA, MBA
Director of Clinical Services
Cheryl Pistone joined Consultants in Gastroenterology and
The Endoscopy Centers in September, 1995. She has been a nurse for 28 years
starting her career in the US Navy in San Diego as a medical surgical nurse. She
worked in critical care for several years before moving on to various management
positions. She received a BSN from the University of Tulsa in 1981, a MA in
Healthcare Administration in 1998 and a MBA in 1999 from Webster University.
She is an active member of SGNA and has spoken at the national conference on
several occasions.
When she is not at work she enjoys ringing bells in the
bell choir and keeping up with her children.
